The course Geometric Modeling and Graphical Informational Technologies. Descriptive Geometry enables students operate 3D models projected onto 2D space. It enables students construct 2D images from 3D original objects, understand 3D objects by studying their projections, create complex surfaces by their determinants. The course develops students' spatial imagination and sketching skills, which is compulsory for modern engineers. Also in this course students are getting aquainted to modern Computer Aided Design systems.
